Renegade Celebrates 25 Years!
Renegade Animation was founded in 1992 with the aim of producing outstanding animation, providing exceptional service and fostering a supportive and creative environment for its employees. The studio made its initial splash in commercial animation and one of its first projects, the Nike Super Bowl spot "Aerospace Jordan" was one of the most successful commercials of all time. Since then, Renegade has extended its reach into episodic television, feature films, interactive games and DVDs as well as web and mobile content.

A pioneer in animation for the internet, Renegade won an Annie Award in 2001 for its Web series "Elmo Aardvark: Outer Space Detective." The following year, it made its first foray into television series production with "Captain Sturdy" for Cartoon Network. It also produced the series "The Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi Show," which ran on Cartoon Network for three seasons, “The Mr. Men Show,” which ran for two seasons and “The Tom & Jerry Show,” currently in its fourth season of production. Van Citters and Postlewaite have been nominated several Emmy awards.

The studio undertook one of its most ambitious projects in 2006, teaming with Easy to Dream Entertainment, to produce "Christmas Is Here Again," a full-length animated film featuring the voices of Ed Asner, Kathy Bates, Brad Garrett, Andy Griffith, Shirley Jones, Jay Leno and Daniel Roebuck. The movie has since been adapted into a multi-media musical for the stage that incorporates many of the animated elements from the film.

Renegade Animation offers a complete line of production services, using state of the art technology, all the way from initial concept to final post production. These services include casting and recording, conceptualization, writing and character development, visual development including character design and production design, storyboarding, direction, animation, editorial, sound, music, final mix, and digital output in a wide variety of formats.
